Rolls Royce

The Rolls Royce Silver Shadow is another luxury car built by the British carmaker Rolls Royce and was available in multiple body styles, a 4- and a 2-door sedan and a 2-door cabriolet. Kept in production until 1980, the Silver Shadow replaced the Silver Cloud III in Rolls Royce's line-up but was in its turn replaced by Silver Spirit. The Silver Shadow marked multiple milestones in Rolls Royce's history, being the first model which came with a monocoque chassis as well as the first single bow vehicle built by the British company. Moreover, in contrast to the previous releases, the Silver Shadow had drum brakes and independent rear suspension. There were two engine configurations, a 6.2-liter V8 and the 6.75-liter V8 popular engine installed by Rolls Royce on many other models.
